Space requirements for hybrid lifting stations
The rooms housing hybrid lifting stations must be large enough to provide a working space of at least 60 cm in width and height next to and above all parts requiring operation and maintenance. The installation room must be adequately lit and well equipped for aeration and ventilation. In the event of renovation, installation may also take place in an existing pump sump. However, it should be noted that a collection pipe must be present. If this is missing, it must be retrofitted before a hybrid lifting station can be installed.
TIP: As a rough guide, the following minimum dimensions for pump sumps can be used:
- Ecolift backwater lifting station: 1.00 x 1.00 m
- Ecolift L backwater lifting station: 1.40 x 1.40 m
- Ecolift XL backwater lifting station: 1.80 x 1.80 m
