Switch and alarm unit

Operation of a control unit

Why is a switching and alarm unit important?

In accordance with DIN EN 12050-2, sewage lifting units designed without sewage should be fitted with a control mechanism for automatic operation, allow for manual operation, and, in the case of faecal matter lifting units in accordance with DIN EN 12050-1, should also be equipped with a fault indication device. These requirements ensure the safe and reliable operation of the systems.

An overview of the standards
