floor slab installation

Backwater valves for black and grey water: Pumpfix M, Staufix FKA, Staufix SWA, Controlfix

Waterproofing layer against pressing water

Controlfix clean out pipes, Staufix SWA backwater valves, Staufix FKA automatic backwater valves and Pumpfix M backwater pumping stations for floor slab installation (identified by an ‘S’ for a black cover or an ‘X’ for a tileable cover at the end of the article number) can be sealed against pressing water using a waterproofing layer or an elastomer waterproofing sheet.

Deeper floor slab installation

The supplied upper section allows for a deeper installation to a depth of 640 mm. This measurement is taken from the lower edge of the drain outlet to the upper edge of the floor structure. Greater installation depths are possible when using the extension section (art. no. 83 070). Several extension sections can also be nested inside one another; however, please note that the backflow prevention unit (cover and flaps) must still be removable for cleaning and maintenance purposes! The installation depth of 800 mm must not be exceeded.

The minimum installation depth of 500 mm is achieved by cutting the upper section on site.

Deeper installation in waterproof concrete

Extension section, art. no. 83 075, with central flange, including a seal set comprising a mating flange and an elastomer waterproofing sheet made of NK/SBR, Ø 800 mm (max. extension 360 mm), for protection against pressing water when installed in waterproof concrete.
