What must not be allowed to enter the grease separator?

There are certain substances that must never be poured down a grease separator. You can find out which ones here.

The following must not be discharged into the grease separator

To ensure the smooth and safe operation of a grease separator, only waste water containing organic fats and oils must be discharged into it. Under no circumstances must the following substances enter the separator: 

  • Faeces
  • Light mineral liquids
  • Rainwater
