As an intelligent drainage solution, hybrid lifting stations combine the advantages of traditional gravity drainage with innovative pump technology. During normal operation, wastewater flows away by natural gradient without the need for active pumping. However, if heavy rainfall threatens to cause backwater from the public sewer network, an automatic flap seals the pipe pressure-tight, whilst the integrated pump safely diverts the accumulated water via a backwater loop.

Areas at risk below the backwater level may be threatened by water ingress during heavy rainfall or when the sewer system is overloaded. Individual hybrid lifting stations ensure safety in such situations: should backflow occur, the pump starts automatically and reliably discharges the accumulated wastewater. This combines energy-saving technology with uncompromising property protection.
Protection of existing properties
Circumstances or requirements may change over time. When refurbishing existing buildings, the existing gravity drainage pipes are often no longer sufficient to ensure efficient drainage. Custom-designed hybrid lifting stations integrate seamlessly with the existing infrastructure and complement it in a targeted manner.
