Water is one of our most precious natural resources, and its availability is not unlimited. In many areas of application, however, it is not always possible to prevent wastewater from becoming contaminated. For example, restaurants, commercial kitchens, hotels, canteens and food-processing plants all produce grease wastewater. In petrol stations, garages, car washes, vehicle fleets and industrial plants, on the other hand, light liquids such as petrol or oil can enter the wastewater.
Contaminated wastewater must therefore be pre-treated and cleaned using appropriate separator systems before being discharged into the sewer system.
