Hybrid lifting stations
for wastewater with and without sewage.

Efficient thanks to its dual function
Applications for hybrid lifting stations
Drainage points located below the backwater level must be protected against backwater from the sewer – for example, during heavy rainfall. If it is necessary for wastewater from these drainage points to be disposed of continuously, lifting stations are generally used. However, if there is a natural gradient towards the sewer, hybrid drainage is a suitable option. The advantage is that, unlike a conventional lifting station, the wastewater is discharged by gravity during normal operation without the need for energy. The pumps are only used in the event of a backflow. At the same time, the integrated shut-off device prevents water from the sewer system from forcing its way into the building. Hybrid drainage not only saves energy but, above all, significantly reduces wear and tear as well as maintenance costs.
