Thanks to their low weight, GRP chambers simplify logistics enormously. In confined spaces, in inner-city locations, in alpine regions or during refurbishment projects, significantly less crane capacity is required, which greatly facilitates installation on sites that are difficult to access. Furthermore, they offer outstanding tightness: constructions with few or no joints reliably prevent infiltration and exfiltration. This is an essential property where the water table is high or in sensitive water protection areas. Thanks to their long-term chemical resistance without the need for additional measures and a realistic service life of several decades, they represent a sound investment throughout their entire life cycle – precisely tailored and durable.

Aggressive media
In industry and commerce, aggressive waste water often causes rapid corrosion of concrete. GRP chambers offer the perfect solution here, as they are completely corrosion-resistant. They reliably withstand hydrogen sulphide, aggressive fats, industrial chemicals and saline process water. Typical applications range from the chemical industry and abattoirs to biogas plants.

High structural requirements
Where installation depths exceed six to ten metres and traffic loads are high, conventional polymer reaches its limits. GRP chambers prove their worth here thanks to their high ring stiffness, thin wall thickness and excellent structural integrity in difficult ground conditions. Unlike other materials, there is no risk of cracking here. Their low weight also makes installation easier. This is particularly relevant for deep-lying gravity sewers, underpasses and industrial sites with steep gradients.

Special geometries
Thanks to their excellent formability, they enable tailor-made solutions for a wide range of structural challenges. Whether round, oval or square chambers, eccentric pump sumps or integrated separation or settling chambers: in addition to special custom geometries, complex requirements such as offset inlets, special flanges or large nominal pipe diameters can also be manufactured in-house.
Pre-assembly at the factory
GRP plastic chambers and GRP pumping stations stand out thanks to their extremely high standard of pre-assembly. Whether chamber modules, pumps, guide rails, pressure pipes, fittings, shut-off valves or precision sensors and level probes: all of these components can be pre-installed to exact specifications in our factory workshops. This significantly reduces installation time on site. At the same time, it noticeably minimises the risk of errors during on-site installation.
