    The collection tank for storing food waste, made from durable PE, is suitable for underground installation and consists of a cistern and a service shaft. Access for cleaning and maintenance work is possible via inspection hatches with plastic extension pieces for stepless height and level adjustment. The innovative shredder-mix system with integrated shredder homogenises and circulates the tank contents. Cleaning is carried out via an external, floodable pump, which is installed in a separate service shaft and can be separated from the tank by a shut-off valve. A direct discharge connection is provided for odour-free manual disposal. In addition, the food waste collection tank features a rounded base for quick and clean disposal. The fully automatic programme sequence is controlled by a user-friendly control unit with a multi-line display, which can be integrated into the building management system via a potential-free contact. The control unit, with a cable length of 10 m, is factory-fitted in the service shaft. Cleaning and disposal can be initiated from a remote location using a remote control. Thanks to the customisable cleaning programme with quick-select function, cleaning can be adapted to local conditions as required. Compliance with the Drinking Water Hygiene Regulation can be ensured by means of a fully automated flushing of the drinking water pipes. The filling unit and solenoid valves must be installed on site in a dry room. The connections between the collection tank and the technical shaft, as well as the empty conduits and connections, must be provided on site. For load class D, a load distribution plate must be installed on site. The reinforcement plans form part of the EBA and are available from KESSEL. The tank is groundwater-resistant up to ground level (GOK). 20-year warranty on the PE material.
