Warranty for specialist tradesmen

Scope

1.) This warranty statement applies exclusively to specialist tradesmen in the plumbing sector. For the purposes of this warranty, a specialist tradesman is a tradesperson with specific qualifications and expertise in the ‘plumbing’ trade. They have completed recognised training that enables them to carry out demanding technical tasks professionally and in accordance with applicable standards. Specialist tradesmen offer specialised services and thus contribute to quality assurance and professionalism within the trade.

2.) By purchasing a lifting station from the Minilift product range, you have acquired a branded product from KESSEL SE + Co. KG. By registering this product online on our website, you will receive a five-year product guarantee in accordance with the following terms and conditions.

3.) This warranty is an additional, voluntary service provided by us as the manufacturer to the specialist tradesman in accordance with the warranty conditions described here, through which we demonstrate our confidence in the high quality of our products.

 

Scope of the product warranty

1) This product warranty applies to KESSEL SE + Co. KG lifting stations from the Minilift product range.

2) The product warranty is valid from the invoice date of the product’s purchase by the specialist tradesman.

3) A prerequisite is that the installation has been carried out by a qualified specialist contractor in accordance with DIN EN 12050-3:2015-08 and EN 12050-3:2015.

4) This product warranty applies exclusively to the specialist contractor who carried out the installation of the system. It applies only to units that have been installed by a specialist contractor and that have been registered by the specialist contractor with KESSEL SE + Co. KG immediately after installation. Following registration, the specialist contractor will receive a confirmation.

5) KESSEL SE + Co. KG guarantees that, for the registered product, any faults arising from design, manufacturing or material defects will be rectified by means of a free replacement for a period of five years from the invoice date. The following components of the product are covered by the warranty: 

  • Pump (excluding hydraulics and macerator)
  • Electronics board
  • housing
  • Sensors

KESSEL SE + Co. KG reserves the right to decide whether to replace the defective product in its entirety or one of its components.

6.) The replacement is limited to the dispatch of a functioning product or component. It does not include the installation or removal of the product or component, nor the costs associated with this. Furthermore, the free replacement is subject to the defective product or components being returned to KESSEL at KESSEL’s expense. 

 

Warranty Terms

1) Warranty claims must always be made in writing to KESSEL SE + Co. KG, Bahnhofstraße 31, 85101 Lenting. The warranty is subject to

  • a valid proof of purchase is provided upon request,

  • the warranty certificate from KESSEL SE + Co. KG is presented

  • regular maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and DIN EN 12050-3:2015-08 is proven by the submission of maintenance records, and

  • the warranty claim is made within the relevant warranty period.

2) This warranty is subject to the lifting station being used correctly in accordance with the operating instructions and applicable standards. The Minilift lifting station is a small lifting station. The specialist installer must declare that they have installed and used it in accordance with its intended use and the provisions of standard DIN EN 12050-3. Furthermore, the warranty requires professional installation, commissioning, handling and regular, documented maintenance.

3) Wear and tear, deterioration and lack of maintenance, as well as any resulting consequences, are not covered by this warranty.

4) This warranty shall lapse in the event of any work carried out by parties other than the KESSEL SE + Co. KG Factory Customer Service department or a recognised specialist contractor.

5) Warranty services provided do not result in an extension of the warranty period.

6) The warranty does not affect the validity of warranty claims under the contractual obligations towards KESSEL SE + Co. KG or under statutory provisions.

7) Further claims, in particular claims for damages of any kind and claims for reimbursement of other costs, in particular downtime costs, are not covered by the warranty.
