Instructions for the Wi-Fi connection to the Connect Pro 400 V control unit

How to connect the Connect Pro 400 V control unit

  1. First, disconnect your mobile device from the local Wi-Fi in order to establish a connection to the control unit.
  2. Then turn on the Connect Pro 400 V control unit: Open the main menu and select the menu item "7 Communication".
  3. Then enter the following customer password: 1000.
  4. Now select the menu item "7.5 Wi-Fi" and activate the Wi-Fi with "On" on the control unit. The control unit display now shows a QR code.
  5. Scan this and use the browser to access the following address to connect your mobile device to the control unit: http://connectpro.kessel
  6. This will open the web server on your mobile device automatically. Bear in mind: Only one mobile device can be connected to the control unit at any one time!

Setting up the Connect Pro switching device using the ‘Parameters’ file from the web serverv

The ‘Parameters’ file is a configuration file that contains all setting values for a specific system. The ‘Parameters’ file can be found under the “Media” tab on the product website or on the web server. To download the ‘Parameters’ file from the web server or to configure the switchgear, please follow these steps:

  1. Select the main menu |7 Communication| on the switchgear
  2. Enter the PIN password ‘1000’
  3. Activate the function in the |7.5 Wi-Fi| menu
  4. Scan the QR code with your mobile device or enter the Wi-Fi SSiD and password in the device settings
  5. Open a new window in the browser
  6. Enter the following in the browser: http://connectpro.kessel
  7. The web server opens on the mobile device.
  8. Download the ‘Parameters’ file under the “Parameters” tab
  9. To configure the switching device, upload the saved ‘Parameters’ file
  10. Log out of the web server

Helpful tips & tricks

If you encounter problems connecting to the web server – especially when opening the browser address – you can switch off mobile data on the end device and try again.

Are there several Connect Pro 400 V switchgear units in the same room? If so, only activate the Wi-Fi once with ‘On’.

Once you have successfully connected and are working on the web server, switch the Wi-Fi on the switchgear back to ‘Off’. This prevents any security gaps in the network.
