Bespoke solutions for underground installation
If there is no space inside a building for a grease separator, or if exceptionally large volumes of grease- or oil-contaminated waste water are produced, underground systems offer the perfect alternative to free-standing models. As they are located underground outside the building, no valuable indoor space – such as in the kitchen or cellar – is lost. At the same time, they eliminate the risk of unpleasant grease odours inside the building. Furthermore, underground grease separators are characterised by their particularly high load-bearing capacity and stability – and are also available in XXL nominal sizes.

Special shapes
Not every site is the same: limited space, difficult ground conditions or unconventional plot shapes can prevent the underground installation of a standard model. Bespoke tank designs provide a solution in such cases. Individually designed grease separators adapt precisely to the on-site conditions.

Adjustable inlet and outlet heights
If, for example, the incoming sewage pipe is laid at a lower level or the drain needs to be adapted to a specified gradient, standard connections are of no use. Low-lying sewers or changes in ground level also require bespoke designs. As bespoke solutions, variable inlet and outlet heights easily bridge such differences in level, eliminating the need for complex additional structures and ensuring the smooth operation of the separator underground.
High stability
Underground grease separators must be able to withstand high loads. This may be pressure from above, if the grease separator is situated beneath areas used by cars or lorries, such as courtyard driveways. However, it may also be the static load generated by the soil and groundwater. Customised solutions are tailored precisely to the specific requirements in such cases.

Customised combinations – cost-effective to run
Here, safety, durability and cost-effectiveness go hand in hand: where limited space is combined with a deep installation depth, whilst at the same time the operation of the entire system needs to be particularly cost-effective, a grease separator in a twin walled re-enforced pipe with a hybrid lifting station is the ideal solution.
Non-standard nominal sizes
Healthcare facilities, the food industry and large canteens often generate enormous volumes of grease wastewater. When standard models reach their limits, bespoke solutions open up entirely new possibilities. Grease separators with nominal sizes above NS 20 can handle extreme peak loads with ease and integrate seamlessly even into complex structural layouts.
