Individual separator technology solutions

Tailor-made separator systems

Grease, petrol or oil, starch, sand or sludge: If wastewater is contaminated with impurities, it must be pretreated using appropriate separator systems before being discharged into the sewer system. If standard solutions are not suitable in your property, we will gladly make product adaptations or develop completely new products for your specific application. The following selection of typical applications shows how this can be achieved in practice.

Example 1

Grease separator in a twin walled re-enforced pipe – deeper installation

Complex changes in ground level or multi-storey underground car parks can pose a challenge when the installation point lies metres below ground level. In such cases, the basis for bespoke solutions is a PE twin walled re-enforced pipe, within which the grease separator is housed together with an accessible plant room in a single structure.

Example 2

Biological fat treatment

Following cleaning by the grease separator, emulsified or finely dispersed grease particles often remain in the water at premises with exceptionally high grease loads. The Bifena biological post-treatment stage serves to further reduce this residual load – tailored to the specific on-site conditions.

Example 3

Sampling chambers

Normally, wastewater flows with a gradient. However, there are installation situations that require bespoke solutions: in such cases, the chamber is designed as required so that the water can be safely channelled through and sampled despite a difference in level or in the case of horizontal flow (without a conventional gradient in the chamber itself).
