If the sewer is higher than the backflow preventer, the wastewater must be pumped to the sewer via a backwater loop using a lifting station. Until now, expensive, complex and space-consuming ceiling penetrations were often unavoidable – until now! The CleverLoop system separator is a revolutionary product for new builds and renovations that requires no additional construction work: affordable, clean, sustainable and quick.
And this is how it works: thanks to its completely innovative design, the CleverLoop no longer requires water to be lifted above the backwater level. Nevertheless, when closed, the internal mechanism provides reliable protection against backwater. CleverLoop is available with KESSEL pressure connections in nominal sizes DN 50, DN 80 and DN 100 with a click system.
Possible applications
CleverLoop is used in situations where wastewater is generated below the backwater level, but the backwater loop would need to be routed through the floor slab in order to be situated above the backwater level. In this project report, we use an example to illustrate a typical application for the CleverLoop system separator.
Unbelievably cheap
If local conditions require the installation of a backwater loop, the costs of building drainage often skyrocket in line with the size of the property: however, in a detached house, using CleverLoop can save around 50% of the costs compared to a conventional installation.
The benefit is even more pronounced in larger properties: in a multi-storey commercial or multi-family building, where a ventilation pipe is also required, costs can be reduced by up to 70% by using the CleverLoop system separator in combination with the CleverVent vent diverter.
Revolutionarily resource-efficient
Fewer pipes, less installation material, no fire protection collars: choosing the CleverLoop system separator means you need significantly fewer building materials. This significantly reduces the carbon footprint. This conscious use of valuable resources sends a clear signal in favour of sustainable construction. An added bonus: the CleverLoop itself is made from 66 per cent recycled material.
