Alternative odour traps

The water seal may disappear due to drying out or being sucked dry as a result of faulty ventilation of the pipework system. This can lead to unpleasant odours. Alternative odour traps prevent odours from forming in the building – even in floor drains that receive little water, such as those in plant rooms, boiler rooms or laundry rooms. KESSEL offers two solutions here: these can be incorporated into the original design or retrofitted at any time.

• Mechanical odour trap including hair filter for KESSEL upper sections, in combination with a design cover (Lock & Lift locking system) and additional protection against backwater up to 0.1 bar
