The polymer grease separator for free-standing installation in frost-protected rooms is equipped with a collecting tank and disposal tank for coarse materials and grease. Upstream from the grease separator is a motor-driven auger screw for the separation of coarse materials. These are pumped through the auger screw into a designated collecting and disposal tank and therefore do not enter the interior of the grease separator. A motor-driven skimmer is integrated in the grease separator for the constant disposal of the separated grease from the grease separator in the designated collection and disposal tank. The control units for the auger screw and skimmer unit permit application-optimised operation of the overall system. The auger screw is monitored by a pneumatic level control. The fill levels of the two collecting and disposal tanks are also monitored by sensors and report the pending disposal to the owner-operator.
