With 1,073 beds and 22 specialty medical departments, Hospital Ingolstadt, which also functions as a teaching hospital, is the fourth largest hospital in Bavaria. In the course of a general renovation of the entire health centre during ongoing operations, the large kitchen was also taken which supplies all patients and the more than 800 employees with meals every day. As the existing grease separator had reached its capacity limits, it was replaced by a KESSEL Grease separator EasyClean free Auto Mix & Pump NS 30. Due to the on-site welding that was carried out, the installation in the designated technical room was possible without any problems and the replacement was successfully completed within a short period of time. After a joint commissioning with comprehensive instruction, the systems were handed over to the hospital’s technical team.
